What we want from the ' cloud ' conferences?

http://www. itblogs. ru/blogs/saas4russia/archive/2010/09/02/70583. aspx. (By the way, he can write here, on this blog, but still probably not getting your hands:-).
It seems to me that this record has been made by the repetition of previously thought (. http://cloudclub-ru. blogspot. com/2010/08/saas_30. html.
- What is important for the user funkitsonal rather than a functional model of delivery ).
I can not agree with this position: it is important to both!.

His current record is the following sentence:.
===========.
Actions such as conference CloudConf ( and other activities in the field of Softline SaaS) I absolutely do not understand. The idea is to convey to customers the thesis »SaaS - it's cool! ... But customers are generally looking for ...

==========.

I agree, but only partially.
The problem really lies in the fact that vendors are trying in their marketing activities to focus on the ' cool! '.
But when they forget that they are dealing not with tinedzherami, and with the business! . And do not just say - and prove it. And to prove ' an adult ', but not at the level of slogans.

But conversations with adults in our business are weak or very weak (and not just SaaS).

Moreover, I'm talking providers with users ( potential ) did not observe. To whom was directed the same CloudConf? .

By the way, although I then wrote several critical articles about the CloudConf, but overall it just took place at considerably 'above average'.

Akutalnym question, it seems to me now is this: is it possible to accelerate some marketing efforts to promote SaaS, or you just need to wait for the maturation of the market?.
And if so, what efforts are needed?.
